1 Cup Edible Rice Bran

1 Cup Urad Dhal Flour

2 Cups Rice Flour

2 Teaspoons Salt

1 Tablespoon Ghee

2 cups Water
-
Sift all the flours into a bowl and mix well.

Add the salt and mix well.

Add the wet ingredients and mix it together until it forms a soft ball. Note: add the water a little bit at a time, until it is soft enough to be able to be pushed through the murukku press

Make smaller balls that will fit your murukku press.

Put a ball into the murukku press and make a few murukkus onto small, greased plastic sheets.

Heat the oil in a kadai to a medium heat.

Slide 2 or 3 murukkus into the hot oil and fry until the bubbles reduce.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Makes about 20 Murukkus
