1/2 Cup Edible Rice Bran

2 cups Atta Flour (Chapathi flour)

1/2 cup yogurt

pinch of Salt

Sufficient Water to make it into a slightly thick batter

Seasonings:

1 medium sized big onion - chopped
-
1 green chili - minced
-
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
-
1 tablespoon oil

Mix the Edible Rice Bran, Atta Flour and salt together in a bowl.

Add water and whisk until it becomes a slightly thick batter

Let it sit/rest for 10 - 15 minutes

Heat the oil, and fry the mustard seeds.

Once the mustard seeds have popped, add the onions and green chilies. Give them a quick stir.

Take it off the heat and mix into the batter.

Heat a tawa and pour thosai batter.

Cook on both sides and then serve hot.
Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Makes 20 - 6inch thosais
Serve these thosais with your favorite side dishes like Chutnee or Chicken Curry and enjoy.
